Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an applicant must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:
oBachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university in health/human services or related field.
oTwo years related experience and/or training and working knowledge of housing, social service and individual support services; Medicaid services or Home and Community Based Waivers is desirable.
oAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
oAbility to communicate effectively with individuals with varied cognitive abilities to establish professional relationships. Ability to read and interpret documents such as employment paperwork, assessment reports or medical records, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or co-workers of the organization.
oAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
oAbility to travel throughout the state of Maryland
Please note that valid drivers license and a 4 year college degree is required for this position.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
