The Senior Marketing Project Manager is responsible for creation and administration of the JAX Mice, Clinical & Research Services Marketing Calendar (in close consultation with the Director of Marketing and Content Manager), ensuring that activities are in line with strategic objectives and accountable for marketing campaign performance. The Senior Marketing Project Manager also acts to oversee all aspects of producing, maintaining and distributing the printed and electronic ad campaigns and marketing materials (including standard sales collateral) distributed by JMCRS. This position also holds responsibility for implementing and delivering metrics to the Director of Marketing for Campaign performance.
The Senior Marketing Project Manager works closely with the Director of Marketing, Marketing Content Manager, Business Unit Managers, Multi Media, JMCRS Sales and other JAX Services Managers.
Travel will also be 5 - 10% of this position.

Required Skills
Bachelor's degree Marketing or business related field and advanced coursework in marketing; or Masters in Marketing.
Excellent interpersonal, communications, and negotiation skills coupled with the ability to build networks influence and motivate others toward accomplishing individual and group objectives.
Required Experience
5
years of direct marketing experience, with direct experience managing media campaigns (Print and electronic) and matrix-based marketing project
Experience in scheduling and managing multiple projects with internal and external stakeholders under tight deadlines. Experience managing advertising or promotion schedules and marketing calendars is highly preferred.
Demonstrated experience in formulating and successfully implementing projects/decisions, under tight timelines and pressure, which carry significant financial and business consequences. Must be able to work with technical scientists to develop and edit marketing content and author content with considerable independence and flexibility to ensure quality, technical accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.
Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM systems), Marketing automation systems and Web publishing and metric capture is preferred.
Excellent skills to include computer hardware and software applications that would normally be encountered in a business setting such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Ability to navigate and interrogate relevant scientific resource databasess.
