Desktop Services Specialist needed in Magnolia, AR. Will provide technical assistance to computer users. Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, or via telephone or electronically; install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications; develop training materials and procedures, or train users in the proper use of hardware or software; confer with end users to determine types of hardware and software are needed to achieve goals; participate in evaluating new hardware/software; attend training; stay abreast of latest software/hardware developments; function as ITS team member. Must have BS, Computer Science; in depth knowledge of: Helpbox; MS Access databases; ImageCast; Deep Freeze; IDimage; POISE SkyLite; MS Outlook; Barracuda; Adobe Captivate; installation and configuring SPSS, PrintLimit, Radmin; setup of network data storage drives; Dell desktop pcs; HP printers; MS Windows and MAC OS.
