Credit Manager
The Credit Manager is accountable for ensuring the departments credit policies are adhered to, periodic credit reviews of customers and assessing the credit of potential customers
Management
Responsibilities:
Manage and motivate the credit and collections staff
Responsible for departmental performance metrics
Ongoing training of the credit and receivables staff
Manage relationships with collection agency vendors, credit reporting firms, credit insurance agencies
Establish a strong rapport with the sales department
Manage the credit granting and updating process
Responsible for approving customer credit applications
Establish relationships with largest customers, at times in person
Requirements:
5
years of credit experience including credit scoring systems experience
Bachelor's degree
Credit-law knowledge
Ability to occasionally travel to client locations
Strong negotiation experience
Knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
