Position Summary
Promotion and marketing of the Bank's financial products to both existing and prospective customers. Consulting with customers to assist them in understanding financial products offered compared to their needs and financial circumstances. Understands, communicates and works to achieve the mission of the Bank. This description applies to three levels (Job Codes 2541, 2542 and 2543). Level assignment is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to: scope and complexity of responsibility, market area, and experience and expertise of financial services officer.
Position Accountabilities
Services existing customer relationships by analyzing customer financial needs and current bank product offerings.
Consults with new business clients and advises them as the availibility and suitability of bank products that meet their needs outlining the advantages and disadvantages of various products, including BusinessLink products , which best meet their financial needs.
Promotion and marketing of financial products through outside calls, telemarketing and targeted direct mailings and in-branch selling.
Sells Bank products and provides superior customer service. Manages more complex sales transactions. Cross-sells products and services, including mortgage loans.
Completes documentation necessary to open/maintain new consumer and business deposit accounts.
Assists Financial Services Consultants and Financial Services Representatives with more complex transactions.
Complies with all policies/procedures related to the new account process.
Trains Financial Services Consultants and Financial Service Representatives on some bank policies and procedures.
Participates in events that demonstrate support for the community and increase business opportunities for the Bank.
Performs other duties as assigned

Required Education or Equivalent Experience

Years of functional/professional
Experience: One to three years banking or related experience

Knowledge of bank products and services

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
