As a Human Resources Generalist based at our Chino Hills, CA district office, you will provide general human resources support for all districts within the Southern CA area and will work closely with the HR Manager and other management in implementing company-wide initiatives related to attracting, developing and retaining a talented and engaged workforce while understanding business issues and act proactively to introduce HR concepts, ideas and solutions.
Additional Responsibilities
Work with the Construction managers to identify staffing needs and develop a recruiting strategy
Manage the Early Talent Recruitment programs
Actively recruit potential candidates and maintain database
Initial screening of potential applicants and facilitating the interview process
Working with the hiring manager to determine details of offers, including compensation package and terms of employment
Manage the on-boarding process
Manage the disciplinary and termination processes
Facilitate the Career Management System, specifically performance and learning management
Identify training and development needs and provide recommended solutions in an effort to support employees in the achievement of performance goals
Identify trends in employee satisfaction, productivity and retention rates and provide recommendations to HR Manager and business leaders
Highlight and promote areas of competitive advantages
Work with the Benefits department in the administration of benefits plan
Ensure HR Policy is applied consistently in employee matters
Provide metrics as requested by HR Manager
Participate with the compliance process specific to the executive order 11246
Conduct investigations into incidences with confidentiality, respect and fairness and provide recommendations for resolution
Ensure compliance with all local, state, provincial, union and federal regulatory agency regulations and requirement

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
