The Sr. Actuarial Associate could support Annuities, Audit, Capital Markets Hedging, Corporate, Group Insurance, Individual Life Insurance, International Insurance or Retirement Services including Pension Risk Transfer.
Job responsibilities may include support in any of the following functions:
Financial Reporting
Modeling
Valuation
Pricing
Product Development
Support ad hoc research & statistical analyses

Qualifications:
Qualifications
College Degree (BA / BS) required.
Degree in Actuarial Science, mathematics, finance, computer science or other quantitative related fields are preferred.
Minimum of 2 actuarial exams or related advanced degree required / preferred.
Self-motivated individual with strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong technical and analytical skills.
Experience in maintaining a controlled environment and protecting sensitive information.
Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize and manipulate Excel, Microsoft Access, Visual Basic Application and C+
programming are desirable.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
