## Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to serve the stores in the detection and apprehension of shoplifters. In addition, the Lead Store Detective will serve as a coordinator between a team of store detectives and the assigned District Loss Prevention Representative( DLPR) or District Loss Prevention Manager (DLPM) with additional duties of supporting the assigned DLPR in scheduling/training/hiring/coaching and evaluating the performance of the team of store detectives
## Job Responsibilities
Detection and apprehension of shoplifters and or vendors in accordance with company policy by use of visual and closed circuit television ( CCTV ) standard practice
Detection and reporting of internal integrity issues in accordance to company policy by use of visual and CCTV standard practice.
Assist Loss Prevention Representative in training/scheduling/hiring/ coaching and evaluation of store detectives
Communicate effectively to customers/law enforcement/and direct reports thru verbal contact and written reports
Utilize CCTV to create video records of incidents requested by law enforcement and internal departments at the direction of the assigned Loss Prevention Representative
Provide testimony in court on cases required by law enforcement or court representatives
Perform other secuirty and loss prevntion duties to a safe and secure environment for customers, Team members or others visiting the company occupied locations.
Troubleshoot report and provide solutions for malfunctions in CCTV equipment
