The Information Technology (IT) Manager is responsible for managing the IT functions for The Arc of Anchorage. The IT Manager ensures the quality and performance of IT by managing IT communications between The Arc and the IT outsource vendors/partners and internal departments. This includes, but is not limited to, having a base understanding of knowledge of the LAN, Wi-Fi, server hardware/software components, protocols, monitoring tools, Internet, and IT security The IT Manager provides proactive technical administration, planning, coordination and technical documentation for systems and is overall responsible for end-user support, system performance, and productivity.
Education/
Experience:
Preferred: Lead or supervisory experience, IT background that includes web interface experience, application troubleshooting, and system monitoring.
Required: Bachelors degree in information technology/systems or related area. Must have a 5 or more years experience in a production system or end-user support environment and/or diverse business experience, preferably with telecommunications or IT background that includes skill sets such as web interface experience, application troubleshooting. Must be able to provide current TB vaccination/health screening, must be able to pass a background check.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
