Position Description
The Spirit Structures team has an opportunity for a Contracts Procurement Agent to join our challenging, fast-paced and rewarding environment. The role requires leading the supplier and enforcing contract terms and conditions as well as creation and implementation of negotiation strategies. Strategies will include leveraging program, in-service and other key initiatives as well as blending results from supplier quality and delivery performance resulting in binding agreements and other contractual documents. Successful candidates will have demonstrated results of leadership through strong organization & prioritization skills, abilities to deliver contracting project results, and crisp communication skills all of which will be applied to executive briefings, responsibility for multiple concurrent projects and creating team cohesion through support of teammates. Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply. Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements. Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements. Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance. Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions. Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements. Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management. Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance. Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.
