POSITION DESCRIPTION
Barbaricum seeks a Finance Associate to provide support to our accounting department by maintaining our filing system and providing assistance with accounts payable data entry. Successful candidates will have a background in general administrative duties such as filing, sorting mail, typing, etc. Experience with Data Entry is a plus but not a requirement. This position offers growth potential in our finance department as well. Candidates can expect to file accounts payable invoices, general ledger entries, bank statements and other accounting reports. Data entry will initially consist of posting A/P invoices. Candidates can expect to grow into further responsibilities to include G/L entries, bank reconciliations, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
BS in related field
Preference for those with knowledge of accounting systems (e.g.: Deltek)
Preference for those with bookkeeping / financial tracking experience
