Job Description
Full-time, 80 hours per pay period.
The Charge Nurse provides nursing care for the residents. Nurse functions in a structured care environment per established policies and procedures for provision of geriatric and adult health care. Nurse has knowledge of and utilizes appropriate age-related resident care protocols for the physical and psychological needs of the resident. Oversees NA/C.N.A's assure quality compassionate care is provided. Assumes general resident care and safety and address subordinate issues. The charge nurse if responsible to maintain appropriate staffing as necessary following protocol for temp staff utilization. The Charge Nurse works closely with the DON to insure that clinical and operational objectives are met.
When students are providing patient care, treatment and / or other services as part of their training, any / all employees may be asked to supervise the students.
Required Skills
Graduation from a NLN or AACN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable. Bachelor's Degree in nursing is preferred. Current CPR Certification is required within 6 months of hire.Must fulfill annual continuing education requirements of the department and facility.
Currently licensed with the applicable State Nursing Board and/or possess multistate licensure privileges as required by position.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
