TPD Workforce & HR Solutions in SLC is currently interviewing for a Geotechnical/Geological Engineer for one of the most highly respected companies in Utah.
The
purpose of this Geotechnical Engineer
will serve to minimize production delays due to geotechnical events while protecting the mine work force through monitoring of the Underground.You will want to be a part of this project for many reasons.

Long Term Contracted position anticipated duration is 2-3 years.

Some of the Accountabilities are:
Face mapping and grade sampling
Shot Crete testing, (installed thickness, Slump tests, collection and testing of RDP, Beams and end Beams, early strength penetration testing and pull out testing).
Updating and geological and geotechnical datasets.
Interact with other mine groups; study team, geology, hydrogeology, mine planning, mine operations, water service, etc.
Perform special projects. Other tasks by the superintendent Technical services or delegate.
The ideal candidate will have the following competencies/
Experience:
Knowledge of the mine geological, geotechnical and hydrological environments.
Problem solving and resolution abilities for; development delay due to geotechnical event. CollectionEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
