Position Description
We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to be responsible for the creation, execution, and communication of results of comprehensive tests cycles of Stericycle's suite of software solutions.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
o Create test cases in accordance to the test plans set forth by the QA Lead for a given project and/or across multiple projects.
o Execute both manual and automated test scripts.
o Communicate execution status of assigned test cases to QA Lead
o Log defects in Quality Center and participate in defect review meetings with QA Lead and development as needed.
o Provides accurate test results based on observations of the system's ability to meet expected outcomes as defined by both business requirements and documented system specifications.
Position Requirements
Education &
Experience:
Education equivalent to an Associate's degree, or the equivalent in related work experience with two or more years in a Quality-based business environment (e.g., Financial, Operations, Customer Service or Sales). Bachelor's degree preferred.
Demonstrates experience creating SQL scripts and/or performing SQL queries or related experience using Microsoft Access.
Demonstrates knowledge of Business systems and processes; knowledge of Stericycle business systems and applications is a plus.
Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel; Access is a plus.
Demonstrated experience in the following is preferred:
o Test management systems such as HP Quality Center
o System integration testing
o Understanding of VM Test Environments
o MS Windows and Vista OS
o Experience with basic programming concepts
Ability to communicate in a second language is also a plus.
