General Summary
The qualified candidate acts as an actuarial and financial model consultant to colleagues and clients in the design, pricing and implementation of insurance products. Monitors industry developments, researching and responding to information requests, and providing timely and accurate service. Develops, delivers and drives methodology and framework that allows for ongoing assessment of profit and risk. Advises Chief Underwriting Officer and Program Managers of underwriting profit opportunities and threats.
Job Responsibilities include:
o Advisor to Schinnerer Senior Management.
o Provides pricing and product management reports for multiple lines of insurance.
o Interpret and analyze client underwriting information to assist underwriting in marketing and pricing individual accounts.
o Design, price, and evaluate rates and rating plans .
o Assist in developing risk management advisories and other publications
o Establish and maintain strong relationships with company actuaries and Schinnerer staff.
o Assist in development of new insurance programs
o Coordinate development of acturial database and related systems
Required:
o Good interpersonal skills for establishing and maintaining good client and internal relationships.
o Good analytical aptitude as demonstrated through academic experience or work assignments.
o Good ability to be organized and pay attention to detail.
o Good verbal and writing skills for complex communications with clients.
o Good ability to prioritize workload according to volume, urgency, etc.
o Good problem solving skills and aptitude.
o General knowledge of business principles and industry trends.
o Good computer skills for using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
o Position requires a four year college degree in Actuarial Science or related quantitative field such as Mathematics or Statistics.
o Ten or more years of Property and Casualty actuarial experience.
o Associate (ACAS) or Fellow (FCAS), Casualty Actuarial Society.
o Extensive knowledge of insurance products, operations, and existing regulations; awareness of legal, political and environmental impacts on insurance product and operation.
o SAS or other statistical programming experience preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
