Abacus Technology is in need of a Systems Analyst to provide full life cycle system support for the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N;) Directorate at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position.
This is a prospective position that we've posted with the intention of building a pipeline of candidates based on submitted proposals and pending contract awards.
Establish integrated system level requirements for an overall information, technical, and data architecture in support of multiple software applications. Perform platform capability analyses and COTS/GOTS evaluations, selects components, and develops system and LAN interfaces to ensure compliance with OSI, ISO, IEEE, DII COE, and DoD TAFIM requirements. Construct models and simulations of computer systems to demonstrate ability to meet user requirements. Execute system stress tests to identify software performance constraints; tune application and operating system software to enhance performance accordingly. Conduct system engineering analyses to detect hardware/firmware problems and define spectrum of alternative solutions.
Positions available at multiple experience levels including entry (0-3 years), mid (3-7 years), senior (7
years), and principal (7+years directly related and advanced degree). Bachelor's degree in a related field;Master's or graduate degree preferred for senior-level and principal positions. Extensive experience gathering and documenting business requirements. Experience with business and system analysis. Must be proficient in all aspects of the system life cycle and have an understanding of large-scale system development. Able to adapt to the customer environment and develop an understanding of the business. Able to analyze complex inputs and translate data into well-defined system requirements. Comfortable interacting heavily with clients and end users to assess current state of systems and architecture, as well as future needs. Familiar with MS Project for developing schedules and plans. Attitude, adaptability, and ability to learn are paramount. Experience developing project schedules, project plans, and work breakdown structures. Exposure to project management preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be a US Citizen.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
