Assumes responsibility for generating sales and managing the operation of the Teller line. Assumes responsibility for the branch in the absence of the Branch Manager.
Oversees the platform employee(s) to ensure sales goals are being met and the delivery of services is accurate.
Supervises the Head Teller and the Teller line to ensure Bank procedures and policies are being followed.
Provides ongoing training for branch staff on bank products and operations.
Maintains security controls and procedures.
Monitors the daily balancing of branch General Ledger Accounts.
Completes branch reports on a timely basis.
Provides a variety of customer assistance.
Ensures a smooth operation of the branch in the absence of the Manager.
Creates a professional climate within the branch, ensuring teamwork.
Performs any position in the branch as needed.
Services the ATM machine(s).
Maintains safe deposit box area.
Inputs new accounts on the same day accounts are opened.
Monitors and/or ensures compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations; including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti Money Laundering, as well as Bank operation policies and procedures.
Performs additional duties as requested.
The qualified candidate will have at least one year of customer service/platform experience in a branch setting. Attention to detail, and excellent communication and customer service skills are required. PC skills, including the use of Word, is necessary. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and previous supervisory experience.
This position is subject to the SAFE Act because you may act in the capacity of a Residential Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO). As such, you will be required to register with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry and to maintain this registration in good standing.
