Sequel Developer/BI Specialist

Company Name:
Brooksource
Job Description:
A well-established but growing client of ours in the Nashville area is looking to hire a SQL Developer on a permanent basis. This person will be joining a team of 4 (The lead and 3 other developers) to support their Enterprise Claims and Sales Datawarehouses. This person will focus on their Claims DW, and walking in the door, will be working on their claims implementation project and also a migration project. This group is a fun group to be part of, and members of this team have pursued growth opportunities with in the company - upward movement is definitely possible (and given the crazy company growth that has occurred doors will be opening up).

Some exciting things have been going on with this company:
They were purchased by a billion dollar company about a year ago, which has helped them grow, and they are projecting to triple their already sizeable environment in the next five years.
This growth has translated to promotions into lead, senior and mid-level roles.
Laid back environment - some developers wear business casual, others wear jeans and a t-shirt. Up to you.
They enjoy getting new technologies that are fun and make sense. They include the team on technology decisions.
Each developer given 2 24in. monitors when they start.
They are involved with the United Way - they have days you can take off (without using PTO) and give back.

The right person will have at least three years of SQL Development from a BI/DW perspective. Creating dimensions, measures, models, etc. are tasks this person should be able to execute. While this person must be a true BI/DW specialist, any Cognos or Crystal report experience would be nice to have, but not totally necessary. They are looking for this person to start immediately, but a two weeks' notice is perfectly acceptable.

years of SQL Development experience
3
years with Datawarehouse/BI data modeling, measures, dimension creation, etc.
