Reporting to the Vice President of Research and Development , the SQL Database Developer has the task of collaborating with the VP, research associates, and tools developers in the R&D Department to realize the vision of developing company's toolset with an eye towards protecting intellectual property (IP). The SQL Database Developer will lead the implementation of all database applications that support a web-based tool architecture.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Assisting, supporting, and maintaining the development of tool modules in the company toolset
h Assisting in the development of the tools database architecture
h Coordinating efforts in database structure design and implementation, performance optimization and other development for global platforms
Qualifications:
h
BS Computer Science
h Strong Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 database design and development experience for global, very large database applications
h Analyze and develop applications using SQL Server this includes, but is not limited to, Stored Procedures, Views, table maintenance, SSRS
h Experience translating VBA code to T-SQL code
h Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills
h

yrs. of hands-on experience with SQL stored procedure database development efforts
h Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
