The Fort Mill, SC location of Sanmina Corporation has an immediate opening for an experienced Planner in a repair setting with concentration in the electronics industry. Qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate proven ability to:
Plan, schedule, coordinate and/or monitor final approval of products through the complete production cycle based on customer orders and delivery requirements.
Make or recommend revisions to planned production schedules as necessary when schedules cannot be met which includes planning and preparing backup schedules
Reschedule rework, unfinished parts, and assemblies, new production releases, and special orders.
Work from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements.
Establish effective communication with various departments as necessary to meet production requirements.
Work with Document Control Department to create and plan new repair and build component records in Oracle and SAP.
Perform daily entry in the Oracle and SAP System.
Supports the sites ISO and M3K compliance efforts and actively participates in the company''s continuous quality improvement and lean concepts initiatives.
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
oAbility to multi-task and meet deadlines in fast paced environment with minimum supervision.
oAbility to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
oJudgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
oAbility to interact with senior internal and external personnel.
oAttention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
oIntermediate knowledge of Oracle 11i System Purchasing OUR
oMust have SAP experience, preferably a super-user.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Position requires a high school diploma, preferably an Associates or Bachelors Degree, Military Training, or equivalency.
We are looking for individuals with 1-3 Years experience in a Planning position; above average knowledge of repair and service capabilities and processes; a strong background in MRP; an understanding of master scheduling and forecasting processes; and experience with electronic multi level builds.
