The Equity Compensation Group administers Global Compensation Plans under the Johnson & Johnson Long Term Incentive programs, ensuring compliance to J&J Policy, Internal Revenue Service codes, Security and Exchange Commission rules, Sarbanes Oxley laws, and selected local country tax laws are applied to all transactions.

The responsibilities include managing the global issuance, acceptance and processing of the various equity compensation instruments issued to Johnson & Johnson executives. The Senior Equity Analyst will manage the global process for the recording, administration and issuance of LTI compensation of Restricted Share Unit (RSU) and Performance Share Unit (PSU) awarded to worldwide employees in accordance with the guidelines as outlined in the Long Term Incentive Plan Prospectus. These responsibilities require the Senior Equity Analyst to partner with global Total Rewards, Payroll and Corporate Tax groups to develop guidelines, procedures, and communications for these processes.
Additional responsibilities also include the management and maintenance of standard policies, processes, procedures and systems to meet internal control guidelines and SOX compliance requirements. He/she will also manage all SOX compliance testing, documentation and reporting for the department.
He/she will also liaise with Johnson & Johnson's Stock Transfer Agent with extensive interaction and communication relating to employee shareholder accounts and services to ensure accurate employee shareholder records, timely processing of share transfers, accurate reconciliations and streamlining of processes. Additionally, he/she will manage the global demographic data Stock Transfer Agent to ensure accurate and timely delivery of compensation shares to employee accounts.
The Senior Equity Analyst will protect J&J from revenue loss resulting from unpaid option exercises by collecting payment for stock option exercises from participants and also reconcile daily cash receipts to delivered shares and quarterly reconciliation of cash receipts and posting of related journal entries. He/she will execute correspondence for all accounts past due.
He/she will reconcile and prepare all income and tax reporting needed to substantiate corporate tax deductions for equity compensation issuances including the reconciliation of income and taxes provided to U.S. Payroll as well as disseminate non-U.S. income reports for local tax compliance and deductions.
He/she will also independently prioritize workload and projects to meet fluctuations in the volume of transactions and complete various adhoc reporting requests from multiple stakeholders. Additionally, he/she will initiate and participate in the development of departmental processes and system enhancements to streamline and remain current on J&J Policy, Stock Option Plan, and IRS and SEC rulings as they pertain to equity administration.
Qualifications
A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required. A degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred. A CPA, CMA or MBA is preferred. A minimum of three (3) years business experience is required, preferably in Finance or Accounting. The individual must possess excellent analytical, conceptual, communication and business partnering skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office specifically Excel is required. A general understanding of accounting practices, Sarbanes Oxley, and basic knowledge of income tax rules are required. The individual must be able to recommend and implement process improvements and work independently. Knowledge of stock market/stock options is preferred. The position is located in New Brunswick, NJ.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
