We are seeking a sustaining engineer who will be responsible for troubleshooting production issues, maintaining production systems, and coordinating with development team members to resolve the most complex issues. The person hired for this position will work with a team of experienced analysts, developers, and business resources to maintain high performance enterprise systems. The scope of the work will be widely varied, including troubleshooting customer portals, web services platforms, internal automation, tracking, data, database code, and reporting tools and services.
The perfect candidate will demonstrate a thirst for knowledge, an ability to rapidly pick up systems and technologies and understand their application.
Major
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, test, support various Alegeus products.
Develop fixes, enhancements, and utilities.
Education/
Experience:
BS in technology related field, or demonstrated industry experience on similar successful projects.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
Working knowledge of SQL, and relational database techniques.
The candidate should be able to read and understand C#/VB.net code in order to be able to troubleshoot it.
Candidate should be able to navigate and understand data files of various types, CSV, Fixed Width, Mixed Mode, XML, JSON.
Working knowledge of Windows Server operating system, networking, and related technologies.
The candidate should have some experience in programmatically sending and receiving data using transfer protocols, such as FTP or TCP/IP.
Optional/Additional Fields:
Web Services: experience with the design and development of Web services and/or their general application a plus.
Mainframe Skills: mainframe skills, such as COBOL, DB2, and IMS a plus.
Electronic Data Interchange: programming experience involving EDI a plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
