## Job Purpose:
The Personal Trainer accomplishes financial objectives by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean gym environment and driving sales.
## Job Duties:
Maintenance:
Maintains a clean, functional and organized gym with provided tools and guidelines.
Determines and communicates equipment repair needs to management in a timely manner.
Customer Service:
Remains customer focused in all interactions with members and prospective members.
Maintains member records as necessary by updating account information.
Resolves billing or service problems; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; following up.
Maintains proper records per company policies and procedures.
Collects feedback from members and shares suggestions with management.
Fitness Training
Conducts one-on-one exercise instruction, modified to assist member in efforts to attain fitness goals.
May conduct Group Fitness class programs approved by company.
Properly modifies Group Fitness exercises as need for the safe completion by participants.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
## Skills/
Qualifications:
Customer Service, Quality Focus, Problem Solving, Documentation Skills, Listening, Phone Skills, Resolving Conflict, Nationally Recognized Personal Training certification and CPR certification.
## Preferred
Experience:
At least 9 months Personal Training instruction
