Sterling Consultant/Developer
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills
o Should have project experience in designing end-to-end solutions using Sterling OMS preferably in ecommerce/Retail industry
o Should have hands-on experience in one of more modules - Sterling Distributed Order Management, Selling and Fulfillment, Global inventory visibility, Reverse Logistics, Supply Collaboration
o Worked in at least 1 of major ecommerce site with Sterling Order Management Solution .
o Experience in design and development skills in Sterling OMS
o Leads large-scale business application Architecture/ Development / design efforts in eCommerce, with a focus on Sterling Commerce.
o Advanced level in Sterling Order Processing, Inventory Management, Reverse Logistics, Delivery and Service Scheduling.
o A strong understanding of eCommerce B-to-B and B-to-C concepts and solution experience
o Experience in extending Sterling APIs
o Experience in COM RCP customization
o Good knowledge in Sterling OMS data model
o Experience in SIM customization
o Effective communication and interpersonal skills
o Effective time management and organizational skills
o Demonstrates strong problem solving and effective decision-making skills
o Experience in Sterling support process.
o Familiar with Agile Scrum Methodology
o Help analyze, troubleshoot, and/or tune Sterling Commerce product performance or deployment issues when required
o Handle integration challenges between Sterling and other applications
Roles and responsibility
o Work with business analysts and client leads to understand requirements and drive the Design solutions to the requirements.
o Perform impact analysis to the existing application and coordinate with matrix application
o Involve in business meetings and perform impact analysis for new requirements.
o Write System Design Specification documents
o Help and guide the development team in customizing the sterling configurations and services to meet the business requirements.
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with customers and team members clearly and effectively across multiple locations
Excellent workload management skills to clearly set customer and team member expectations and meet deliverable deadlines
Sound judgment and the experience to recognize and raise risks and issues appropriately
Patience to mentor less experienced team members to help build a team of exceptional webMethods developers
