Summary: The Repair Shop Maintenance Manager will supervise, train and develop a cohesive team and the supporting processes to ensure on-time repair both new products and installation of equipment. This position requires the use of initiative and judgment.JOB
Responsibilities: Repair and install hydraulics and electrical systems for rolling vehicles/equipment Develop a preventative maintenance system Communicate with sales, purchasing and accounting to ensure proper information flow Maintain production and repair schedules Ensure that material and repair parts are available to support production/repair schedule Ensure work orders are complete, accurate and timely MUST HAVE: High School Diploma andequivalent work experience. Associate or Bachelor Degree would be a plus 5
Years experience in a repair shop maintenance environment; preferably with trucks, trailers, heavy haulersor rolling stock vehicles 3
Years supervisory experience Knowledge of lean manufacturing and practices Experience with hydraulics, motorsand electrical repair Experience in weldingwould be a solid plus Willingness to work extended hours and an occasionalweekend to accommodate customer schedules Skill in both verbal and written communicationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
