This individual will be responsible for performing administration of Informatica v8.6.1 ETL tool.
The ETL admin will be part of a team responsible for building out and maintaining US data warehouses.
They will work with the ETL developers to implement ETL solutions.
This individual will be supporting several projects within this development team. They will be handling administrative functions within the ETL system, setting up environment variables, running jobs to backload data, troubleshooting outages and development issues as needed.
Resource should be proficient at running Informatica Enterprise Grid Edition, writing/maintaining Unix Shell Scripts. They should also be able to help troubleshoot production ETL job issues and document software and operational procedures.
They will also need to work independently with little direct supervision in the administration of ETL and provide detailed analysis of problems and recommends solutions.
Responsible for packaging and promoting Informatica ETL code from development to upper environments.
Reviews and contributes to documentation such as operational procedures.
Works independently with little direct supervision in the administration of ETL Must have working experience in UNIX (Suse Linux) and Oracle database (10g and 11g).
Must be organized and detail-oriented, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.Must be completely self-sufficient with Informatica software and have knowledge of Informatica Best Practices and standards. Must be a very clear and effective communicator.
Must Have
-Extremely strong Informatica admin experience ? must be very self sufficient and knowledgeable.
-Shell Scripting experience.
-Oracle 10 G and 11G experience.
-Prior experience in informatica versions 8 and 9 enterprise edition -SUSE LINUX -Should have solid understanding of dimensional database structures.
- Knowledge of how to troubleshoot production ETL job issuesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
