Role Overview
The Contract Account Manager (CAM) functions as the general manager for MD&D External Operations manufacturing sites. The CAM is responsible for managing all aspects of the relationship with assigned external manufacturers to deliver reliable product supply and total cost effectiveness while meeting or exceeding all customer service, compliance and product requirements.
Major Responsibilities
Critical responsibilities include leading cross functional teams in the resolution of product supply issues, driving results on a worldwide basis, negotiating total cost of contracted products and services, execution of supply agreements, achievement of monthly plan attainment goals, and identification / delivery of Cost Improvement Projects (CIPs).
In addition the CAM is the single point of contact in the development of manufacturing strategies to improve site performance and product supply, coordination of new product launches at external operations sites, and ensure quality and customer service objectives are achieved.
Critical Success Factors or Scope or Responsibilities
- Achievement of Schedule Attainment, Line Fill Rate, Perfect Order and Inventory goals.
- Will identify and deliver Cost Improvement Projects (CIP?s), leveraging Process Excellence tools resulting in improved total cost, and facilitate the implementation of LEAN models for strategic Contract sites.
- Coordinate efficient implementation of product/process changes at contract sites
- Identify opportunities and lead efforts to consolidate sites to gain volume leverage and reduce complexity.
- Marshal resources to resolve issues and develop manufacturing strategies to improve site performance
- Develops and implements plans to reduce lead-time for Finished Goods and resolve quality issues
- Develop business continuity plans as a means to insure continued supply and develop supply market knowledge within key processing technologies
- Defines opportunites for leveraging across the supply base within MD&D
- Leads supplier selection process for franchise related projects
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required. A Bachelors Degree in supply chain, quality, planning, finance or related field is preferred. MBA preferred. A minimum of 8 years related experience is required.
Medical device experience preferred. Experience in multiple disciplines of supply chain including: External Operations, Manufacturing, Procurement, Planning or Finance is preferred. Prior experience in managing suppliers, negotiating contracts and working on supplier agreements is preferred. Experience working in Manufacturing Operations, specifically in a GMP environment is highly preferred.
Strong analytical/technical aptitude & competence, project management skills and prior experience leading cross-functional projects is required. The successful candidate will be a demonstrated self-starter with strong oral and written communication skills, comfortable communicating across functional levels. Experience with Six Sigma/Process Excellence tools, training and/or certification is preferred. Experience with the commercialization of new products is preferred. Internet and MS Office Suite proficiency is required. Prior knowledge of Advanced Planning systems such as ERP, MRP, and SAP is a plus.
This position will be based in Raynham, MA and may require 10-20% travel (domestic & international).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
