This can be a remote, home-based position located anywhere in the U.S.
Position
Summary:
The Project Manager (PM) provides management, direction, and coordination for various projects and activities associated with the deployment, implementation, and maintenance of Amcom CTI products to new and existing customers. The PM also ensures compliance with the project life cycle and project management principles, including timely communication with affected technical, sales, and business staff.
Essential Functions:
Manage assigned projects through successful completion.
Guide, mentor, and evaluate internal project team performance within project guidelines.
Evaluate team performance and provide feedback to various internal departments on challenges and successes of the assigned project.
Communicate with various Amcom departments regarding their roles and performance requirements.
Direct and perform follow up as necessary to complete projects and elicit customer satisfaction.
Communicate with customers as primary contact regarding upgrade process, progress, and completion.
Create and maintain process, standards, and upgrade documentation.
Maintain and evaluate project plans and related documentation to ensure highest level of customer response.
Evaluate and report project outcomes, customer satisfaction, and customer concerns.
Report project status, schedules, issues, resolutions, and completions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or technical training equivalent, all others considered
PMP certification required
3
years of project management experience
External customer-facing project management experience required
Effective leadership skills
Advanced written and oral communication skills
Excellent analytical and project management skills
Willing to identify, own, and solve problems independently and as part of a team
Demonstrates strong energy; performing when schedules, deliverables, or customers require it
Demonstrates understanding of impact of current, new, and proposed product features
Understanding of new system implementation and installation processes
Ability to identify key issues through accurate problem triage
Strives to become a self-directed, productive team member, serving as a positive agent of change
