This person will actively participate in all aspects of design and development activities in cooperation with our customers and NHK group companies.
Primary duties and
Responsibilities:
- Product Engineering responsibilities from the request for quote phase through prototype builds, production approval and launch.
- Providing on-going production support to customers.
- General engineering knowledge necessary for product engineering work, including statics and strength of materials.
- Create and revise drawings and design calculations.
- Coordinate with the test lab to accomplish required approval testing.
- Prepare reports for customers.
- Meet with customers and manufacturing plant personnel to transfer information.
- Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to the product, process and quality system.
- Ability to notice design problems.
- Some domestic and International travel will be required.
Necessary Competence:
- Mechanical Engineering Bachelor Degree or higher.
- 1-3 years experience as a Product/Design Engineer within the automotive industry.
- Suspension/Chassis and/or seating knowledge preferred.
- Basic knowledge of CAD (CATIA V5), GD&T, FEM, Statistical Methods, APQP, TS/ISO, FMEA.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate with engineers, customers, suppliers and Team Members.
- Highly motivated, ability to multi-task several projects, independent thinker and effective communicator.
- Ability to manage time effectively and make informed decisions.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
