Product Assurance Engineer: Design, analyze, maintain, provide production support, hold meetings, communicate with users, configure, etc. Manage all activities associated with the quality assurance process, develop and implement policies and procedures on testing processes, standards and systems. Expertise with SQL, Excel and ERP applications. (Design and facilitate test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications. Test of web applications, reporting and other software as needed. Create and use SQL queries to verify and validate results of application's performance and functionality. Examine stored procedures, packages and functions to understand and troubleshoot functionality. Participate in team reviews of product definitions, design specifications and defect review and prioritize other members from QA, dev. and Project Management depts. Work with product developers and tech support specialist to resolve defects and installation issues. Possess extensive DB and SQL exp. Strong UI testing exp. req. for web apps. with focus on backend/functional testing. Resp. for managing and promoting code changes throughout test regions. Must have testing exp. with WinRunner/TestDirector - Quality Center/Quick test Professional/Astra Quick test, Astra Load test, SQA Robot/SQA Project /Load test/ Open STA/CQ Load Runner web Winsock, Oracle NCA, Oracle 2-Tier, RTE, SQL, ODBC, DB & Rational Clear Quest, Crystal Reports, XML, JDBC, Java Script JSP, J builder. Use data retrieving tools like TOAD, SQL Analyzer & SQL Plus to extract the data and to perform the Data Validation and Data Verification by using DDL and DML Statements. Perform Scalability, Performance and Load testing of applications on different protocols (HTTP/HTML, Web Services) using Load Runner. : Min. BS degree with Business/Management/Computer Science /Electronics Engg. or equiv with min. 5 yrs exp. MS with 3 yrs. related exp pref. Reasonable comb of education & exp is acceptable. MS with 3 yrs. related exp preferred.
