The Co-Manufacturing Quality Assurance Supervisor who is responsible for evaluating and recommending production facilities as potential Co-packers or Co-manufacturers. This position also evaluates co-manufactured products for compliance to specifications, establishes required testing protocols, and recommends sampling plans to ensure that products adhere to quality standards.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Evaluates potential manufacturers for their ability to comply with relevant regulatory requirements.
Recommends process improvements as needed to meet regulatory demands.
Accompanies cross functional teams on plant visits to provide technically oriented input and audit Food Safety / Security documentation.
Conducts/Directs product evaluations for new products provided by Co-Manufacturing facilities.
Establishes and leads packaging materials inspection program. To include packaging film, corrugate, and various plastics.
Ability to perform routine QA testing to include becoming proficient at coffee evaluation (cupping).
Preform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.
JOB REQUIRMENTS:
Minimum B.S> Food Science or related field.
Excellent communication and math (statistical analysis) skills.
Experience with developing sampling plans and exciting sample comparisons for organoleptic evaluation. E.g. Triangle testing, duo-trio, difference from control, paired comparison, etc.
The ability to write/audit SOPs to ensure compliance to Food Safety requirements.
Experience with developing statistically significant sampling plans to ensure compliance to quality standards.
Multi-tasking capabilities and adaptable.
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite- (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, and Outlook)
Prior relevant experience within the food manufacturing industry or similar process and/or training is preferred. Prior Co-Manufacturing Quality Assurance experience preferred.
Knowledge of a variety of food process and emerging technologies.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
