Water Treatment Plant Supervisor/Technical Expert - Membrane Treatment
The Plant Supervisor/Technical Expert is responsible for overseeing the operations of an 8 MGD industrial (mining) water membrane treatment plant. Reporting to the President of the company, the work and duties of this role are to ensure that the plant operations meet all company requirements on a continual basis, and that established policies and procedures for plant operation are followed.
Responsibilities include: The successful candidate will safely and efficiently manage and supervise operation of a 8 MGD treatment facility in an MSHA regulated operation. Duties include but are not limited to:
Generating required reports and required inspections
Providing technical expertise on operating protocols and parameters to ensure safe, efficient water quality and recovery while maintaining production demands
Supervising employees to ensure operating, safety, and environmental protocols are followed
Communicating with all levels of management personnel
Knowledge of proper chemical handling
Monitoring plant conditions; formulating and implementing adjustments based on scaling components to protect plant equipment
Identifying and mitigating hazards
Performing other duties as assigned
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:
Ten (10) years of reverse osmosis experience required
Three (3) to five (5) years of leadership/supervisory experience required
Chemical Engineering or Chemistry degree required
Proven safety andEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
