Job Description:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related field.
Minimum of 5 to 8 years experience in a combination of business systems analysis and development.
The ability to work with limited supervision; the ability to make decisions regarding assigned projects independently or with limited direction from management.
o Team Player - Enthusiastic, personable, works well with others (including an offshore team)
o Logical Thinker - Ability to perform analysis and research
o Self starter / motivated. Takes initiative and is willing to learn
o Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - This is a MUST
o Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Visio)
o Banking Experience is a MUST. More specifically Commercial Banking and Credit Risk.
o As always we look for candidates that are open to going permanent if the position becomes available.
Mainframe COBOL resource technical skills:
o Mainframe or AS400
o Cobol
o TSO
o DB2
o JCL
o Sort Utilities
Other Must skills: Ability to analyze user requirements (BRD's) and write CLEAR Functional Designs and Technical specifications.
Nice to have:
o Eztrieve
o SPUFI
o SQL
o Quality Center
o Connect Direct
o XML
Nice skill sets - Basel/DFA/Risk experience, Recent HSBC experience, CDW Application Experience. WLI Application Experience. Need someone that can hit the floor running.
