Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a qualified and motivated professional to assume the role of Industrialization Engineer at our O'Fallon, MO location.
Summary of Position:
Manage Product Line as well as Quality and Lead-time. Support the Line of Business (LOB) Product Roadmap and insure alignment and readiness with GSC (Global Supply Chain), Factories, and DC's. Implement Industrialization performance Metrics/KPI's in support of LOB strategy. Ability to work cross-functionally and partner with other LOB's, GSC's, Factory NPI teams, and Zones.
Incumbent will:
Implement a Global Supply Chain (GSC) Strategy that aligns with Solutions LOB service level objectives - Product Offer, Quality, Cost and Lead-time.
Interface with senior leadership on New Products/Solutions and new process development.
Accountable for introduction of product roadmaps from concept stage through release to sales in manufacturing.
Participate with other senior leadership and business units to insure alignment of strategic plans and objectives to provide the customer with a Solution to enhance their business.
Maintain a constant surveillance over product/solution design and manufacturing processes for the purpose of reducing and controlling costs while maintaining quality standards to meet customer expectations.
With input from Factory NPI and the Corporate Manufacturing Technology team, set DFMA, DFT, and DFS targets.
Collaborate with Factory NPI and Corporate Information Technology Business (ITB) GSC teams to insure products meet DFMA, DFT, & DFS elements.
Coordinate and complete PFMEA with factories.
Insure Projects align with Corporate Purchasing initiatives - K&C; supplier selections, single, and sole part sourcing.
Implement Industrialization KPI's to support LOB strategy.
Ability to work and manage cross-functionally.

Qualifications:
HVAC production experience, large air handling systems preferred.
BS in Industrial Technology/Engineering or a related technical discipline or the equivalent in experience and expertise.
10 - 15 years relevant or applicable experience
New Product Development or New Product Introduction (NPI)
International Experience (Emerging Economies)
Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma
PFMEA
Experience with an ERP System; preferably Oracle
Leadership Skills as well as an ability to work within a team.
Logistic & Warehouse Management
Excellent Communication Skills both verbal and written.
Knowledge and experience with Purchasing Process's.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support the business.
