We are currently hiring a Sourcing, Senior Buyer for our Greenfield, IN location.
The Sourcing, Senior Buyer will negotiate with suppliers for the acquisition of materials and services.
Additional Job Responsibilities include:
Insure all purchasing needs within the company are met. This requires positive communications and order feedback to the requesting individuals or department.
Develop tools to analyze bid proposals and determine best outcome for the corporation
Provide internal customers with alternative supplier(s), product(s), and/or service(s). Other than proprietary supplier, products, and/or service.
Review and seek opportunities for new supply and service sources globally.
Provide coaching, supervision, and feedback to Buyer(s) and other departmental personnel.
Prioritize and direct daily tasks and special projects for positions within their purchasing scope or commodity group.
Ability to lead groups and act as a Project Manager for vendor service relationships with key internal customers as defined by contractual terms and conditions.
Negotiate and manage contractual documents to meet corporate standards for compliance in commercial terms, legal interpretation, and scope of work as defined by internal customer groups

# Education/Qualifications
Minimum Required:
A four-year degree in Sourcing, Finance or related field
Must have proven record of contract management, with strong analytical, communication and customer service skills
International negotiations and administration-preferred
Vendor management experience
Advanced level of personal computer experience required in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint (minimum)
Ability to facilitate meetings and manage multiple departmental projects

Minimum Required:
Minimum 5 years sourcing experience
preferably international and/or CRO or Pharma industry experience
