Description:
Parsons is seeking a highly motivated Dev-Ops Engineer with a development or ops background to help our team. You will be building automation tools for applications to support development and testing. You will work with many teams to improve stability, performance, and quality. If you like challenging problems in a very dynamic environment, this position is for you.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 10
years of development or operational support experience
- 10
years of experience setting up and/or maintaining desktop/server hardware and operating systems
- 10
years Linux system administration
- 10
years using scripting languages (e.g. Perl, Python or Bash)
- 5
years troubleshooting and resolving Network/System related issues
- BS/MS in a technical field or 5
years of experience in an equivalent role
- Eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
Preferred:
- Experience with continuous integration (CI) tools (e.g. Hudson/Jenkins)
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMWare, Virtualbox, Xen, Openstack, etc)
- Experience with Redhat/CentOS
- Experience with a source code management tool (e.g. SVN, Git or Mercurial)
- Experience with build tools (e.g. ant, maven, make/cmake)
Clearance requirements:
Eligible for a TS/SCI security clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
