This is a Deputy Manager position within the Turbine Airfoils group in Global Services Engineering (GSE).The Deputy Manager position is responsible for working with the GSE management team to develop and maintain long term strategies to grow P&W;''s Global Services Partners repair business as well as managing current development tasks and the group''s budget. The deputy manager will provide leadership and direction to the group''s IPTs and also work with IPT leaders to ensure CPMS/budget plans are in place. The deputy manager will also ensure budgets are statused accurately, manage the task milestone database, and communicate task and business status to department directors on a quarterly basis. Other
Responsibilities: - Assist sector manager with developing staffing plans as part of the OMM budgeting process - Assist sector manager with hiring activities - Interface with commercial product line management (PLM) to secure budgets and resolve programmatic issues - Manage outsourcing requirements and SOWs - Manage special projects for the turbine airfoils team - Collaborate with Global Service Partners repair units both at domestic and international locations to identify opportunities to further grow the business and address current issues.- Represent sector manager as needed with senior management and customer leadership.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
