CTi is looking for a talented and professional individual with strong Program Manager - Database Operations Lead. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
Manage the overall strategic vision, day to day operations and integrate a broad range of ideas regarding database analysis, development, operations and maintenance. Responsible for database design in a complex Oracle and non-Oracle technology environment that includes MS SQL and DB2. Recognized across the organization for database expertise and sought as a resource for resolution of unique or complex database problems as it relates to application maintenance, and application development. Undertake the most complex database projects involving multiple disciplines and may impact multiple intersecting business units across a large financial organization. Manage the performance of the database team, and their development.
Ensure data recovery, integrity, space requirements and performance of physical databases are met through formulations and monitoring of policies, procedures, and standards. This person will coordinate activities with Users to achieve Corporate objectives on schedule and within budget.
1. Monitor software subset-systems to detect potential database problems. Investigate, troubleshoot, and evaluate production database problems. Recommend and implement approved solutions.
2. Write, test, and implement operating system scripts and procedures to automate various Oracle, SQL and DB2 database functions and processes.
3. Manage development, testing, and implementation of database systems to meet database capacity standards and sizing objectives.
4. Manage or coordinates database vendor relationships and contracts.
5. Assist in managing and maintaining database backups.
6. Perform database and application upgrades; installing multiple instances of Oracle Applications-11i, and/or SQL and DB2 instances
7. Design and implement load balancing of application servers and database servers.
8. Administer user responsibility authorizations in enterprise applications (oracle, SQL, DB2)
9. Create, test, and implement operating system documentation and procedures.
10. Plan and monitor assigned projects and communicate project progress.
11. Write, maintain, and files necessary system documentation and procedures.
Specific work experience requirements:
?Five years of management experience in a Production (7x24) database and application team.
?Five years or more experience with Oracle, SQL and DB2.
?Five years of in-depth experience in design, modeling, developing, administration, programming and supporting large RDBMS preferred.
Experience programming in SQL and PL/SQL, including optimization of SQL and PL/SQL code.
Four years or more experience in administrating either Oracle Applications, SQL or DB2
Solid team work and project management skills.
Experience in the design of data extract, migration and queuing facilities.
Strong knowledge of using Version Control tools to manage structural changes.
Strong working knowledge of database backup/recovery concepts as well as performance
monitoring and tuning.
Excellent analytical skills and written and verbal communication skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
