Job Description &
Qualifications:
Troubleshoot basic electrical systems using 240v and 480v 3 phase AC systems. Low voltage control systems using 24v thru 120v AC.
Fabricate / weld support structures for new or existing equipment.
Maintain compressed air systems.
Perform preventative maintenance as outlined in the preventative maintenance program; which include but not limited to:
Pneumatic conveying systems and associated equipment.
Blending system and associated equipment.
Grinding reclaim and associated equipment.
Complete a visual inspection on a routine schedule on all plant support systems.
Maintain and support all safety guards and comply with all safety practices / policies.
Complete basic repairs of gearboxes (seals and bearings), motors and related components for the support of the process equipment.
Self initiative and a strong work ethic.
5
years experience in the industrial manufacturing environment.
Basic industrial degree or certificate from an accredited vocational or technical institution.
Basic understanding of electrical concepts and theory to include 3 phase 230V and 480V AC and DC systems.
Basic welding skills using mig welding and / or single phase stick welding with 6011 / 6013 - 5/32 rod.
Basic understanding of a PLC - software and operating systems with the ability to troubleshoot and reset run fault errors.
