Pixar is looking for Research Scientists (Research Engineers) to work within the Research Group in the Studio Tools Department at Pixar to assist in the creation, implementation, and transfer of new technology related to computer graphics film making. Must be able to engineer and implement various rendering and animation algorithms into a film production pipeline, which includes working on the development of asset editing and asset conversion software. Apply a deep understanding of mathematical algorithms, an ability to collaborate in small to medium sized groups consisting of world-class computer graphics researchers, and skill in rapidly implementing and testing new algorithms. Must be able to rapidly prototype research papers and analyze performance characteristics of different mathematical formulations, algorithmic choices, and implementation decisions. Develop rendering and display software, used for interactive editing by lighting artists and animators, by applying principals of high performance GPU accelerated computation, and an understanding of global illumination from both the theoretical and real-time perspective.
Employer will accept Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 1 year of work experience in job offered or 1 year of work experience in a computers systems design/programming-related occupation. Education or experience must include: 1) Accelerated or parallelized graphics computing platforms such as OpenCL OpenGL, GLSL or CUDA; 2) Real time global illumination algorithms; 3) Real time 3D computer graphics expertise; 4) Maya or similar 3D modeling package; 5) Programming skills in Unix/Linux environment; 6) Film, game or other graphics production experience; 7) Integrating graphics software into a film, game or other graphics production pipeline; 8) Analysis and implementation of computer graphics research publications. Experience may be gained concurrently.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
