POSITION SUMMARY
In coordination with Bon Secours Health System, Inc. and Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital Patient Care Services division is primarily responsible for nursing supervision of the hospital. The position is accountable to the VP of Patient Care Services and the Director of Nursing. Actively supports and promotes a professional practice model that encourages staff participation in the development of clinical standards that are collaborative, collegial and utilize current trends and data in professional practice. Openly supports and consistently communicates the mission of Bon Secours and Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. Serves as the collective voice for the staff to communicate with the Director of Nursing and the CNO. Serves as the staff and patient advocate to ensure optimal patient care.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Current license recognized by the Kentucky Board of Nursing.
2. 3-5 years RN Experience, BSN preferred. Certification in ACLS & BLS, PALS preferred.
