SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to provide project and office logistical support in our Sheridan, Wyoming office. Position will support project coordination and logistics for project execution, and assist with health and safety compliance. This is a temporary, full-time hourly position with the possibility of becoming a regular, full-time position. Pay rate will be based on individual qualifications and experience.

Job
Responsibilities:
Support project managers and field crew with logistics and the planning of projects
Evaluate vendors, negotiate rates, and make necessary travel and lodging arrangements for field crews
Track and distribute all necessary field equipment and materials, including coordinating maintenance of company vehicles and procuring rental vehicles
Communicate mobilization details to teams and crew members
Proactively anticipate project needs and initiate planning discussion with Project Managers
Coordinate renewal of applicable permits and licenses
Other administrative duties, part-time or as assigned, for office coordination, including answering and routing incoming telephone calls, sorting and routing incoming materials, data entry, maintaining office supplies and equipment, and filing, and some document production
Ensure compliance with company safety protocols
Job
Qualifications:
Post-high school education or training in administration, bookkeeping, management, or one of our resource specialties (e.g., archaeology, biology)
Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in administration, management, or related field
Experience in natural or cultural resources management, the oil and gas industry, federal and tribal governments, and/or environmental compliance a plus
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; preferably version 2007, and other software applications such as Adobe Acrobat Professional, and ability to learn customized, in-house software applications
Excellent administrative, organizational and project coordination capabilities
Ability to solve practical problems; effective negotiating skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and writing skills
Results-driven individual with excellent attention to detail
Teamwork and customer service oriented; eager to learn and open to feedback
Demonstrates professionalism, positive attitude, flexibility, and initiative
Ability to work independently and with project managers; multi-task regularly in a fast-paced environment with multiple changes; work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
