Provides deposit and credit expertise and advice to affluent clients in support of the Financial Advisor and client relationship. Must demonstrate comprehensive financial planning capabilities through assessing needs, identifying opportunities, and recommending financial solutions. The Team-Based Banker functions as an extended member of the Financial Advisor team; actively developing a strategy to identify banking opportunities in the FA practice and offer clients access to the full suite of banking debt and liquidity solutions for HNW and UHNW clients. The primary focus of the Team-Based Banker is to increase banking relationships with FA client portfolio and expand existing banking relationships to offer more banking solutions. Bachelor''s degree in business or related field required. Five years experience in either banking/credit or investments/securities arenas. Series 7 & 63 (or 66) required. Candidates may apply without Series 7 license, but must achieve all required licenses within 120 days of accepting the position.
Required:
10 plus years experience in either banking/credit or investments/securities arenas or 4 year degree
Proven ability to build partnerships and drive results
Significant experience building relationships with clients
Consultative skills; able to ask critical questions to identify opportunities
Proven results in delivering deposit and credit products to an affluent / UHNW client base
Understanding of functions/ attributes of a total wealth management approach
Knowledge of broad banking debt and liquidity solutions in addition to specific product knowledge
Proven ability to prospect for banking debt and liquidity opportunities - creative thinker who maintains positive outlook
Knows competitor products - understands competitor products/ services and can compare and offer competitive solutions
