The Judge Group is seeking an experienced Plant Engineering Manager for a major food corporation in Georgia. The qualified individual will direct all activities related to the maintenance department, process engineering, facility utilities for GSF operations, regulatory compliance, and stockroom parts.
This job will have the following
Responsibilities:
Manages maintenance department operations to ensure process and packaging equipment are properly
maintained
Directs capital and expense project activities, including engineering design, and start-up, to maximize facility
productivity
Provides design assistance to enhance capital and expense projects, food
processing, and safety
Monitors facility utilities, including steam, water treatment, air, and refrigeration systems and facility operations
to ensure compliance with agencies for hazardous waste, EPA, USDA, OSHA, and fire departments
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university
3 to 6 years of relevant more experience
Knowledge of regulatory agencies (waste water, storm water, hazardous materials, OSHA, USDA, EPA)
Maintenance in a manufacturing environment
Read diagrams and blueprints
Interpret engineering systems irregularities and identify solutions
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
