The Program Director will oversee the development and operations of assigned program areas in ways that will provide life-changing impact to members, participants and the service area. Recruits, trains and supports assigned staff to grow revenues, participation and fund-raising. This position serves as the chief strategist in developing and delivering innovative programs.
Provides direction and leadership toward the achievement of program goals according to the policies, procedures and standards established by the YMCA of Greater Omaha.
Review effectiveness of employed personnel on a regular basis, and hold staff accountable for results.
Strategically manages the 4 Ps (product, price, place and promotion)
Establishes and cultivates meaningful community collaborations.
Develops, manages and controls budgets related to the position.
Ensures program operates within budget and that program fees are collected.
Provides mid-month and year-end forecasting.
Monitors monthly financial reports to assure that revenue targets are met and expenses are controlled.
Provides metrics to measure program/membership impact, staff, and program and membership satisfaction.
Develops, implement, assesses and leads program activities and initiatives.
Recruits, hires, trains, develops, schedules and directs personnel and volunteers as needed.
Ensures records of staff certifications are current and complete.
Recommends solutions to program-specific, Branch-specific and/or Association-wide challenges.
Compiles program statistics and uses the information to monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and participation.
Guarantees 100% compliance with state and local regulations as they relate to program areas.
Ensures that YMCA program standards are met and all safety procedures/practices are followed.
Develop yearly Performance Plans with supervisor and implement the established strategy. (The incumbent is responsible to have a performance plan in place within 15 days of hire and each year based on the Association timeline).

Experience, Education and Certification(s):
Bachelor''s degree in related field or equivalent preferred.
At least 1 year of successful related experience to include supervision, customer service, working with a diverse population, functional experience in key program areas of responsibility, preferably in a non-profit setting.
Hold CPR/AED, First Aid, Oxygen Administration (must have within 90 days of hire) and job related certifications
