Computer technicians will be assigned to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and refurbish desk top and laptop computers and monitors. The technician may also be assigned to repair stereo equipment, video games, DVD and CD products, camcorders and other electronic goods.
Duties/Responsibilities
Maintain quality of work and technical skills
Maintain productivity standards as assigned
Work with internal and external customers to ensure job requests are handled in a timely manner and product is correctly diagnosed and repaired.
Maintain clean and safe work environment by following company standards and procedures
Maintain organization of documentation and product associated paperwork
Maintain product safety through proper handling, moving and storage of merchandiseEnsures compliance with company policy and product service best practice routines
Previous experience in consumer electronics repair, servicing the most popular brands of electronics
Trade school, college or military training preferred
Strong knowledge of computer hardware repair and software imaging/reloading
Good customer service skills
Able to read and interpret electrical/mechanical diagrams and schematics
Detail oriented
Decision making, problem solving ability
Must be able to multi-task
Must be able to work in a very fast paced environment
A certification preferrednullEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
