Oracle America, Inc. has openings for Hardware Developer in Burlington, MA. Design, develop, modify and evaluate electronic, electro-mechanical or mechanical components, assemblies or integrated circuitry for hardware systems for the external market. Includes new design, as well as modification activities that results in significant product enhancement. Activities encompass design, analysis, testing and process development using engineering principles and methods. Technical disciplines may include electrical and logical design of printed circuit boards or integrated circuits; mechanical design of electronics enclosures or integrated circuit packaging; and embedded software/firmware design. Evaluates reliability of materials, properties and techniques used in production; plans, designs and develops electronic parts, components, integrated circuitry, mechanical systems, equipment and packaging, optical systems and/or DSP systems.
Employer will accept Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field and 3 years of experience in a hardware developer-related occupation. In lieu of Masters and 3 years of experience, employer will accept Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field. Education or experience must include:
1. Modeling of Power delivery network (PDN) using electromagnetic and radio frequency (RF) theories. 2. Simulation and characterization of power distribution network (PDN) using Sigrity PowerSI. 3. Signal integrity analysis using theoretical analysis, simulation, and measurement. 4. Radio frequency (RF) measurement using VNA (Vector Network Analyzer). 5. Utilization of obtained simulation and measurement data using MATLAB. 6. Import, translation, and analysis of layout files using Cadence Allegro. 7. Electromagnetic field analysis of electronic component, devise, and system using Ansys HFSS, and CST. 8. Modeling and analysis of circuits, reproduce the data obtained from simulation and measurement using Agilent ADS. 9. Parasitic extraction and characterization of electronic components using Ansys Q3D Extractor. Some travel may be required to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
