Provide accounting and financial advisory support for fixed assets to Aramark's Business Services center. Roles and responsibilities will include documenting, processing, data entry, and auditing associated with fixed assets.
Essential Functions:
Process & Review Capital Equipment Requisitions, Invoices, Purchase Orders, Asset Disposals and Asset Transfers
Maintain and Update Investment Cost Records for all Capital Project Expenditures
Process Equipment Maintenance Reports and Capitalize Assets according to GAAP
Process Journal Entries and Manual Charges against Project Budgets
Provide explanations for Monthly Fixed Assets Reporting
Process & Reconcile AP & FA exceptions within Mass Additions Table
Record supporting Fixed Asset Documentations while enforcing proper SOX Policy and Guidelines
Assist with Oracle updates, testing, and ad hoc projects
Various Administrative functions such as filing, assisting with Tax Audits, and Vendor Control issues
Status and Scope:
Ability to deal with diverse groups and various levels of financial and operating personnel.
Ability to work independently (with limited supervision) and possesses the initiative to identify problems and propose solutions.
Flexibility, multi-tasking, creative thinking, good business judgment, strong organizational & communication skills are all required to meet strict deadlines and manage other projects.
Must be a strong team player, highly motivated, eager to learn, and able to work under pressure during peak periods.
Ability to communicate well with internal and external parties, including other regions, customers, banks, vendors, internal accountants and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
Associates degree or some Bachelor's degree required with relevant work experience. Bachelors in accounting, finance or similar field preferred.
1-2 years of accounting experience (General Ledger, analysis) required.
Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Experience in F&A; shared services center environments preferred.
Strong technical accounting and analytical skills.
Must be a strong team player, highly motivated, and eager to learn.
Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office (e.g., Excel, Visio).
Knowledge Oracle Financial is a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
