PURPOSE OF JOB
Analyze customer and market data to develop actionable information and recommendations for database programs across distribution channels that supports Senior Management decision-making. Conduct geo-demographic, data mining, campaign/program analyses to support market and customer segmentation, product sequencing, and statistical modeling.
JOB DUTIES
1. Perform data mining/analysis to identify distinct, actionable marketing segments and recommend revenue-enhancing strategies across product lines and distribution channels.
2. Employ statistical analysis and data mining techniques to model and target customers for cross-sell and up-sell marketing programs across distribution channels.
3. Develop and maintain analysis routines for use by analyst within the group.
4. Develop and evaluate systems requirements and oversee the implementation of technical requirements to support the growth of the marketing data warehouse analytical capabilities and make recommendations on same.
5. Develop market and customer analyses to support the company's growth initiatives with recommendations on target audience(s) for customer acquisition, cross-sell and up-sell.
6. Review and maintain functional integrity of models and databases to ensure accuracy.
7. Develop AdHoc site and geo-demographic analyses.
8. Develop, prepare and analyze campaign and database marketing programs providing actionable information and recommendations for improvement.
9. Employ high level technical and analytical skills in reviewing marketing information ensuring accuracy and consistency.
10. Maximize job efficiency by prioritizing, working with minimal supervision, and multi-tasking. Requires strong personal computer skills, analytical skills, and organizational skills.
11. Evaluate current processes, recognize opportunities for improvement and develop and implement solutions using a high level of initiative. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Master's degree (preferred, will consider applicants with equivalent work experience) with major in Marketing, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field. Minimum of seven years directly related analytical and/or data mining experience required. Familiarity with relational database/warehouse technology.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
Excellent personal computer skills, including knowledge of Windows PC-based information systems (Access, Microsoft Office, SAS, Cognos, Clickview, Tableau) and ability to learn new applications as requested.
Proficiency with statistical analysis software and multi-dimensional cube technology.
Excellent analytical capability, time management and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines (non-routine).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
