In this role you will support deployed sensor systems.
Position requires extensive system training at various CONUS locations followed by CONUS and OCONUS support.
Responsibilities include:
Ensuring proper system hardware integration upon commencement of field evaluation.
Performing system assessment/troubleshooting
Troubleshooting, repairing, and/or replacing sensor system
Performing system maintenance, including upgrades, replacement of consumables, and cleaning of system
Maintaining all system tools, shipping and protection equipment and consumables
Maintaining physical inventory of units deployed
Providing inputs for user manual updates
Training users on an ongoing basis
Minimum Position Requirements:
Must possess Secret and/or Top Secret clearance
Must have Linux and scripting experience or willingness to obtain training
Former computer programming experience or computer science exposure is beneficial
Prior in-theater experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate
Applicant must be a US Citizen, meet US military standards for deployment, possess a valid drivers license and possess and/or be willing to obtain a valid US Passport
Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline preferred (IT, CIS, EE, or ME)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
